The Garage Atlanta rise+shine speaker series featuring Sam Ock

After the Garage-Atlanta intro, this film steps into the maker space of recording artist and producer Sam Ock for a relaxed, honest conversation about music and craft. Sam describes his sound as a blend—jazz, hip hop, R&B, rock, folk—with a melodic, mellow backbone shaped by Korean musical influences. He traces it back to high school at 14, starting with K-pop remixes, then realizing the real fun was making his own music, building a fan base through university, and growing into both a solo artist and a producer. The vibe is creative, curious, and quietly confident—like the best sessions in an edit bay, but with more chords.

We produced it as a profile piece that feels intimate without getting mushy. Preproduction shaped the questions and arc, production captured the right moments cleanly, and post made it feel effortless—line cut, refined edit, color, and sound design tuned to the tone of the story. Deliverables include closed captions, audio description, and thumbnails, because distribution shouldn’t require a scavenger hunt.
