Awards are lovely. They sparkle. ✨

The trophy shelf

Awards for work ranging from enterprise security explainers to a rhyming poem about dirt. Every win below is named, categorized, and linked to its entry, so you never have to take our word for it.

Awards are not the point. Clear storytelling is the point, and awards are just the part where somebody else notices. What we like about this list is the spread: enterprise security, workplace software, customer evidence, streamed events, workplace culture, and one social video about the planet. Different formats, same job.

An internal Honeycutt Inc. holiday, produced entirely for the fun of it.
Creative Misadventure Day
A short, joyfully feral promo for Creative Misadventure Day—our very own holiday for making art just for fun, with zero stakes and maximum grin.

Creative Misadventure Day. This little social spot announces our internal holiday where the only brief is “make something for fun.” The script leans into glorious low-stakes chaos—breakfast in bed, drawing each other’s portraits, rollerblading, writing poetry—then gives the best creative direction ever: do something wild and crazy, see what happens. Every choice is a win. The pixels agree. Loudly.

We made it the same way we make client work—just with the pressure valve opened and the party hats on. Quick concept, tight script, clean timing, then voice, music, motion, and sound polish that make a short piece feel finished instead of “we posted a draft and hoped nobody noticed.” The upside for clients is sneaky: these internal misadventures keep our creative chops caffeinated, our storytelling limber, and our execution fast when it really counts.

Our ball of dirty & surf's day
A rhythmic Earth Day love letter with a wink—thank-you, apology, and practical steps—made as a Honeycutt creative side quest for social feeds.

Earth Day. This social video is a rhyming love letter to our favorite “ball of dirt and surf,” complete with nerdy gratitude and a gentle roast: sorry we’re often pests, we should pick up our awful mess. It swats away the “let’s move to Mars” fantasy and stays grounded—literally—offering practical fixes like planting trees, housing bees, cutting plastic, easing highway speeding, and protecting sea, soil, airspace, and everything we’re borrowing.

We produced it as a playful, music-forward micro-poem—written to be instantly repeatable, like a catchy chorus that sneaks a message into your brain while you’re scrolling. Simple visuals, clear VO timing, and sound work that keeps the rhyme crisp and the vibe bright. It’s also a tiny window into how we work: we can take a message, make it memorable, and deliver something polished—whether it’s for a client or for giggles.

Introduction to Copilot for Microsoft 365
Kick off the Copilot for Microsoft 365 Tech Accelerator—see real productivity wins, adoption tips, and the security, privacy, and responsible AI guardrails.

In this Copilot for Microsoft 365 Tech Accelerator kickoff, Mary David Pasch (engineering team for the Copilot for Microsoft 365 platform, building the orchestration engine behind Copilot experiences) sits down with Bobby Kishore (Vice President of Office AI) to demystify how Copilot rewires everyday work without turning it into a sci-fi experiment. They dig into real “remove the tedium” scenarios across Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint—meeting summaries and transcript Q&A, email thread summaries with suggested replies, drafting help for the dreaded blank page, rephrasing/shortening copy, document summaries, and even turning a Word doc into a PowerPoint in minutes. Bobby also shares adoption tips: start with high-value commands, build new habits in Teams meetings, use Copilot Labs starter prompts, and lean on M365 Chat’s built-in prompt suggestions. Then they hit the big questions—security, privacy, and responsible AI—covering Microsoft’s commitments around customer data (not selling it, not using it to train models), compliance foundations, data sovereignty, and why Copilot may sometimes “over-block” as it errs on the side of caution (including current limitations like encrypted files not yet supporting Q&A/summaries in some cases).

We produced this as a pre-recorded streamed session to feel effortless and human on-screen—while the technical complexity stays safely behind the curtain where it can’t bother your speakers. We handled show development, designed the graphics package, prepared the guests so they sounded natural and confident, produced the footage, and streamed it to multiple social channels. The result: a polished digital event that keeps your presenters calm, your message sharp, and your on-demand version working long after the stream ends.

Microsoft CELA, SharePoint agents case study
Watch Microsoft’s government affairs team use SharePoint agents to turn information treasure hunts into cited answers and tailored talking points—fast.

Microsoft’s government affairs team—essentially diplomats for Microsoft across the globe—shares how a modern “everything, everywhere, all at once” information ecosystem can slow real work down. With knowledge scattered across tools and resources, finding the right document can feel like a treasure hunt at the exact wrong time. SharePoint agents change that by letting users quickly pull the information they need from a centralized site, with sources cited, plus the ability to generate customized talking points on specific issues and gain insights into stakeholder needs—like a personal assistant who lives in the library and actually enjoys organizing things.

We produced this case study end-to-end, handling preproduction, production, and post-production so your customers can focus on being great on camera instead of worrying about logistics. In preproduction, we shape the story, write interview scripts, storyboard visuals, book crew/customers/locations, and schedule every moving part. On set, we wrangle the details, keep the day running smoothly, and make your customers feel comfortable and confident—serious production, fun energy. In post, we build a strong line cut, then make it shine with polished editing, color processing, and sound design, delivering closed captions, audio description, and thumbnails for a final video that’s persuasive, authentic, and blissfully easy to share.

Microsoft Places: Booking experiences
Discover how Microsoft Places helps employees plan in-office days, reserve desks or desk pools, and book Teams Rooms—all from Outlook and Teams.

This demo introduces the Microsoft Places experience in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, showing how employees plan office days and book space. It starts by setting a work plan from the Location icon (choosing in-office days and selecting a building like “Contoso HQ”), then walks through booking an individual desk from the Outlook Calendar or via the Places card. It also covers desk pools (reserving a seat in a shared workspace), using Places Finder to browse and filter by floor and features like monitors, docking stations, and standing desks, and booking conference rooms by filtering for capacity and features—including Microsoft Teams Rooms. Finally, it shows selecting desks and rooms directly on an interactive map, plus automatic desk reservation when you plug into a dock or monitor.

We produced this as a clean, fast-moving demo built to make the workflow feel effortless: preproduction to lock the message and script every step, production to capture crisp screens with professional voiceover and music, and post to tighten pacing and keep the interface readable. The benefit our client: a walkthrough that’s easy for viewers to follow in real time, easy to remember later, and polished enough that the product—not the explanation—gets all the attention.

Microsoft Security Copilot sizzle
A crisp animation on Microsoft Security Copilot—generative AI for security and IT—showing faster response, smarter investigations, and AI agents that streamline workflows.

Cybersecurity is complex. But this animation argues it doesn’t have to be overwhelming—especially with Microsoft Security Copilot. It introduces Copilot as a generative AI experience for security and IT, available as a standalone tool or integrated across the Microsoft security stack and your existing tools. From there, it walks through what Copilot helps teams do faster and better: assess threats and vulnerabilities, investigate security incidents, help secure data environments, resolve IT issues, and secure identities and access. It also spotlights AI agents that streamline and automate workflows, plus the “everyone levels up” effect—junior analysts get coaching, while seasoned experts get an always-ready assistant that helps them move strategically.

We produced this as a polished, end-to-end animation built to make a big idea feel simple and confident. We shaped the message into a tight script and visual plan (with animatics to lock timing early), then paired professional voiceover with music that keeps things moving without stealing the scene. From there, we illustrated and keyframed every beat to match the cadence, and finished with sound design that makes the whole piece feel bigger than its runtime. After streamlined review loops, we delivered the final video along with closed captions, audio description, and thumbnails—so it’s ready to perform anywhere your audience scrolls, clicks, and judges.

Microsoft Defender for IoT sizzle
A fast sizzle on OT security—showing how Microsoft Defender for IoT discovers unmanaged devices, reduces risk, and integrates with Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Defender.

This brand film lays out the looming reality of connected operational technology (OT) and IoT in manufacturing: unmanaged devices, converging OT/IT networks, and a rapidly expanding attack surface. It cites analysts projecting roughly 41 billion OT devices could be internet-facing by 2025, and notes Microsoft found vulnerabilities in 75% of the most common industrial controllers used by customers. The solution centerpiece is Microsoft Defender for IoT—an agentless IoT/OT security platform you can deploy on-premises or in the cloud to discover devices across sites, map communications, and surface risks to crown-jewel assets in a single pane of glass. It also highlights threat intelligence powered by 65 trillion daily signals, plus integrations with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Defender to centralize workflows in the SOC and speed detection and response—wrapping with a CTA to aka.ms/OTGASecurityBlog.

We produced this as a full-spectrum Honeycutt brand film: preproduction to sharpen the story, script, and visual beats before any footage starts misbehaving; production that stays calm, organized, and properly fueled; and post-production where it all gets its shine. We start with a line cut to lock the narrative, then tighten pacing, polish the edit, apply color processing, and craft sound design that makes the message land with confidence. Finally, we deliver the whole launch-ready bundle—closed captions, audio description, and thumbnails—so your video ships cleanly and looks award winning everywhere it goes.

Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Preset security policies
Preset security policies in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 apply recommended protections org-wide in a few clicks—and stay updated automatically. Learn more at aka.ms/Presets.

As the threat landscape evolves (and generally refuses to stop evolving), this animation explains how preset security policies in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 help organizations maintain a strong security posture by automatically enabling Microsoft-recommended controls and settings. It contrasts deeply customizable policies—which can drift over time and quietly reduce protection—with presets that apply recommended spam, malware, phishing, Safe Links, and Safe Attachments protections across the entire organization in just a few clicks. It also emphasizes that presets are regularly updated based on Microsoft’s observations and new capabilities—balancing protection and productivity—so you stay current without constant upkeep. The how-to is straightforward: in the Preset security policies page, choose “Manage protection settings” under Standard or Strict (Standard for most users, Strict for priority users), select “All recipients” to automatically include new users and groups, and you’re covered—ending with the CTA aka.ms/Presets.

We produced this as a clarity-first explainer that makes “security policy maintenance” feel less like an endless chores list and more like a smart shortcut. We structured the story around one core relief: stop babysitting individual settings and stay aligned with recommended protections as they evolve. Then we brought it to life with professional voiceover, supportive music, and clean motion that keeps the concepts readable—finishing with sound polish so every product name and key benefit lands crisp. After streamlined review loops, we delivered the full package: closed captions, audio description, and thumbnails.
