Microsoft Viva Connections admin demo

This admin walkthrough shows how to provision and roll out the Viva Connections app in Microsoft Teams. It starts with prep work—modernize your intranet, set a home site, enable the app bar, build a dashboard with cards, and prioritize feed content—then moves to the Teams admin center (Teams apps > Manage apps) to find Viva Connections and customize it. The demo covers setting the short name, descriptions, privacy/terms URLs, uploading icons (192×192 PNG and 32×32 monochrome), choosing an accent color, and applying changes. It then installs and pins the app via a Teams app setup policy (using Global in the example), orders it to the top of pinned apps, and finally flips the app status from “Blocked by publisher” to “Allowed,” with a reminder to share end-user training afterward.

We produced this one as a step-by-step rollout guide that feels orderly—even if your tenant has big “herding cats” energy. Preproduction mapped the exact admin-center journey and the settings that matter, production captured clear UI with professional voiceover, and post kept the pace brisk so admins can follow once and repeat it without pausing every three seconds. As always, we deliver the full final package: captions, audio description, and thumbnails.
