Just making sure on this, i exported .

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit\favorites To a reg file, so that i could sort them out alphabetically.

So i then import the REG file back into the registry after removing the fovorites key.

Doe;s this mean i remove(delete) the favorites key and then import the one i have just edited....

Thanks

Carl,

Yes. You can also just remove the favorites key from within your reg file before importing the new entries.
add the following line to the top of the file (under the header):

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit\favorites]

Best, Jerry
