Hey guys, started reading jerry's book, loving it!

Question? I want "Internet options" to appear in my internet explorer shortcut menu, a bit nervous about running a script that I have ammended though as its CLSID is setup a little different to the example for "My Computer" in the book. Any advice appreciated, P.S I would like to do it manually in the registry  rather than using a script, as a training exercise.

Thanks..

Stellios,

I haven't done this myself, as I don't like to show the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop. It sounds useful, though. This should be a simple matter of adding the command to open the Internet Options .cpl file to the shortcut menu for the Internet Exlorer class ID. You'd use RunDLL to run the .cpl file, of course.

Best, Jerry
